  • It contains one of our favorite herbs for skincare, calendula, with its anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and antiseptic properties, along with 8 other simple, natural, organic ingredients.

These include a unique combination of non-comedogenic high quality carrier oils and shea butter as well as our proprietary blend of essential oils to keep your skin glowing.

  • It can be a standalone or paired with our Botanical Glow Facial Oil that is formulated to be applied during the daytime. 

  • It will keep your face nourished all year round, but it will especially enhance your skincare routine from middle of autumn to middle/late spring.

What will you find in our Botanical Glow night cream?

  • Aloe vera: Not only do we love aloe vera plant for its gel’s antiseptic and astringent properties, but also because the gel has both cooling, and soothing effects while it helps to give the skin a healthy glow.

  • Beeswax (locally sourced) creates a protective yet loose barrier between our skin and the environment. As a natural humectant, it seals moisture and keeps skin hydrated yet does not clog pores.

Did we mention beeswax is known to have anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal, antiseptic, and antibacterial properties?

  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil and its nourishing and protective qualities also acts as an antioxidant.

  • Calendula compliments the astringent and restorative properties of grapeseed oil.

  • Sweet almond oil is soothing and is rich in vitamins A & B.

  • Vitamin E oil provides excellent antioxidant protection.

  • Shea butter provides extra protection and soothes the skin.

To complete this wonderful symphony of all these wholesome ingredients, we decided to include our own proprietary blend of essential oils with its antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, astringent, and antiseptic properties.

How it Works:

Instructions: Start with a wrist test!

As this product contains not only calendula but also a blend of essential oils, before applying the night cream to your entire face, apply a small pea-sized amount to the inside of your wrist to ensure that you do not experience any adverse reaction.

If there is no adverse reaction, massage a tiny amount into your skin on your neck. 

Wait for 24 hours. 

Note: Should you experience any adverse reaction, remember to use oil on oil not water. Dab olive oil on a cotton ball and gently wipe off the night cream. Gently wash your face with warm water and soap afterwards. Discontinue the use of the night cream immediately.

If no adverse reaction occurs after 24 hours, apply night cream to your freshly washed face. If you use a toner or hydrosol, please apply these first. As far as the amount, we suggest you start with a small amount about pea size into your clean palm and apply the night cream directly onto your face. 

Massage it gently into your skin on your face. Do not forget about your neck. Since everyone’s skin is different, you might need to add a little more if it still feels that your skin needs more. 

As the weather and your environment changes, your skin will let you know if once a day is sufficient or not. 

Quick tip: We suggest applying our night cream at least one hour prior to going to bed, so it has time to absorb into your skin and that most of our Botanical Glow does not end up on your favorite pillow.

Note:

  1. Keep the facial oil away from the area around your eyes.

  2. During the first week of using the facial oil like any other skincare products, some individuals with highly sensitive skin might experience occasional breakouts during the transition period.

    Unless you experience an adverse reaction, stay the course!
